Enniscorthy Hockey Club is celebrating after the announcement of the South East squad for the upcoming hockey interprovincials saw an astonishing five members of its womens section selected in a panel of eighteen. Fiona Rothwell, Leah Chapman, Sonja Rynhart, Julie Watchorn and Olive Lett will represent the club in the annual tournament, which takes place in Sligo on the weekend of 7th and 8th of May. Riverchapel resident Cathal Ó Suilleabháin takes charge of the side as the South East women taken on Ulster, Munster and Leinster in Sligo. There's further Enniscorthy connections as men's second team player and under 16 girl's coach Alan Smith will be making the long trip to the North West as a selector.
