Pressure was put on as goalkeeper Aoife made more brilliant saves from the strong Wexford attackers. Another attack from Enniscorthy but was quickly defended by Wexford defence. They found themselves quickly inside the Enniscorthy circle which came to their third goal of the match. Meagan, Fiona, Orlaith and Niamh were working hard in the middle of the field to get another attack for Enniscorthy but just before half time Wexford got another short corner leading to their next goal just as the half time whistle went.
The second half started off with Wexford attack once again being very strong. Roisin O’Muiri linked a great pass out the wings to Niamh Buttle where Enniscorthy were putting Wexford defence under pressure where they were unfortunate not to secure a goal. The girls in Enniscorthy defence were holding the back line strong when an unstoppable shot came from the Wexford attack. Some excellent clearings in the back line came from Roisin Nolan and Kim O’Connor where they linked up with Fiona, Niamh and Meagan who put in great efforts to break through the Wexford defence. Attack from Wexford was strong but Enniscorthy defenders stood up well and goalie Aoife made some brilliant saves. Enniscorthy were making an excellent effort to put Wexford under pressure and keep the ball away from their goal. About twenty minutes into the second half Wexford managed another unstoppable shot from the edge of the circle. Roisin Bridges, Stephanie Kinsella and Orlaith Breen were working very hard in the middle of the field to get the ball into the Wexford circle. Just before full time Wexford got the last short corner and scored. Overall it was a great effort made from the Enniscorthy girls. Full time score: 7-0
