It is still possible to join in the challenge, enter below!
Here’s how it works!
- Follow the Splink link and pay a once-off €5 charge (plus 0.41c Splink handling fee) for the entire competition. Please note you must be 18 years or older to enter. https://mysplink.com/ehcfundraise/ehc6nations
- Once you enter and pay, don’t forget to fill out predictions and submit. Predictions are to be submitted before 12 noon each Saturday. Predictions should include who you think will win the game or if there is a draw, along with how many tries you think each team will score!
- After all the games have been played, a leaderboard of the top 5 highest scores will be shared on our social media channels every Tuesday, so you can keep up to date with who’s in with a chance to win the cash prize!
- Once the tournament is over, the prize money will be split in half, with half of the pot going to the winner and the other half going to the club.
Predict the correct amount of tries = 3 points
Predict the winner = 2 points
Predict a draw = 1 point per team (2 points)
Max score if you correctly predict tries and winner correct for each game is 8 points, so if you predict correctly for each game you get 24 points over the weekend!
1st prize goes to the person with the most accumulated points at the end of the Six Nations.
Half the pot goes to the player with most points at the end of the Six Nations, but if someone gets full 24 weekend points at any stage the winning pot is split evenly at the end of the tournament.
All players will be notified of their results via email after weekend games.
Other rules to be aware of:
If there is a tie for most points at end of 6 nations, 1 winner will be picked using tie breaker.
If there is a tie for getting max points (24) in 1 weekend, 1 winner will be picked using tie breaker.
If no try is scored, the time of the first penalty will be used.
If there is no max 24 points winner, the 2nd prize is added to first prize.
Tie breaker: for the last match everyone will be asked to predict time of first try. The tie break winner is the person who picked the time closest to the first try.
If Six Nations is postponed then jackpot is held until matches are completed
if Six Nations is cancelled then person with the most accumulated points gets 1st prize and person who gets max 24 points gets 2nd prize
If you have any questions don’t be afraid to reach out on social media, or email [email protected] for more information. Best of luck to everyone!!
