Senior Season Begins

Our senior men's team who will this year play in Leinster's Division 7 have been dealt their first opponent.Their first game of the 2014/15 season will be against there Division 8 rivals from last year, Corinthians in St. Columbus College, Dublin, on the 27th September!

Our senior women's league has been scheduled! Their first game is 28th September against Wexford I, thats this day two weeks ladies!

Hockey training will begin at the Astro Active Centre in Bellefield for

Boys: Under 8’s, 10’s & 12’s - Fri 12th Sept 6-7pm;
Under 14’s & 16’s - Fri 12th Sept 7-8pm;
Under 18’s - Fri 12th Sept 7-8.30pm;

Girls: Under 10’s & 12’s - Sat 13th Sept 10-11am;
Under 8’s, 14’s, 16’s - Sat 13th Sept 11am-12pm;
Under 18’s - Fri 12th Sept 7-8.30pm;

Senior: Women & Men - Fri 12th Sept 8.30-10pm;

The search for a Sponsor

Enniscorthy Hockey Club are currently endeavouring to raise funds for much needed new playing shirts for the forthcoming season.

We are very much aware of the straining times that face all businesses in this economic climate, but we hope that our novel idea to fundraise for our jerseys will encourage you to partake in our quest for a sponsor.

We will be selling tickets at €20 each to all interested businesses. The winning business that gets drawn from the pool of entries will become the proud sponsors of Enniscorthy Hockey Club and have their business logo printed on the new playing shirts. In short, you could be in with a chance to sponsor a club team kit worth €2500 (approx) for only €20! (That's two teams out playing matches every Sunday in the Southeast with your name on our shirts if you win...Advertising has never been so good) We will have a report and photo in the local paper with the winning business presenting the shirts to the club.

One of our committee members will call into you or contact you in the coming weeks to follow up on this letter. I thank you for taking the time to read this and hope you find this idea appealing to your business. We look forward to a positive reaction from you regarding this.
