The girls 3rd/4th year (under 16) side travelled to Bray on Sunday for their first competitive match of the season. The omens were good following a 3-0 midweek friendly away win against Waterford. Once again the defence helped keep a clean sheet, this time in a 1-0 win with the decisive goal coming from E Farrell after the Wexford girl's first penalty corner of the match. M Dunne almost doubled the lead when a shot of hers went marginally wide from a second penalty corner. Bray were full of threat also, winning three penalty corners in quick succession but Enniscorthy held firm to claim all three points.
