Enniscorthy met with Bray in their fourth game of the Minor B League (girls under 14) at a wet Loreto Bray on Sunday morning. Enniscorthy took control from the start and were rewarded within five minutes of play by a goal from Tara Somers. The visitors continued to press and before long Enniscorthy secured a second score with a super reverse stick flick by Rebecca Oglivie. Bray responded well and pressed forward on a number of occasions, however the county Wicklow side found goalkeeper Kate Freeman in superb form throughout the encounter. Before the half was over Enniscorthy had doubled the lead with strikes from Faye Codd and Laura Sutton. Despite second half pressure from the hosts Freeman and her defence worked well to keep a clean sheet, ending the match the right side of a 4-0 scoreline, a result that puts the Slaneysiders top of the table with two games remaining.
