The ladies third eleven continued their South East Cup campaign against Carlow's second side on Sunday at a wet Astro Active Centre. Both teams found the net early on in what was a pulsating encounter, and were deadlocked 3-3 at the break, but it was the visitors who secured the win on a 4-3 scoreline. Lisa Freyne goaled twice for Enniscorthy with Melanie Ni Dhuinn also scoring. Megan Dempsey and Linda Durnan also went close for Enniscorthy, who host Kilkenny II in the next round on February 4th.
