The Enniscorthy girls have consistently improved week on week since the beginning of the season and are peaking at just the right time as there is now silverware to be won.
Their movement and passing was excellent, their tackling, their communication and their ability to take their goal scoring chances were top notch. Centre forward Elaine Quigley finished with a tally of four goals to her name. Laura Smith got a goal from midfield and Eimear Doyle got her debut goal for the U14's.
Every member of the squad was outstanding, but Aoife Mahon in defence, Ciara Kelly in midfield and Eimear Doyle and Niamh Ogilvie up front proved they can play at this level no problem!
The reward for this magnificent performance is a home plate final versus Carlow to played next weekend. The girls hope that all club members will come out in support and no matter what the result this has been a magnificent season for the U14 girls!!!
Also, thank you to Keith for umpiring and thank you to the parents who travelled to support. Hope to see you all at the final!!!
