As can be seen from the photo the conditions were not what you would call ideal for a good game of hockey, but, our boys really played well up against a strong opposition, Three Rock Rovers went ahead after 15 minutes into the first half and Enniscorthy came back to level it with a pass from Peter through to Charlie who put it away.
Trying to keep warm the second half consisted of end-to-end hockey with some great play by Glen in goal, Peter in defence and Seb, Aodan and Pearse in midfield. Unfortunately, neither side could add another goal and the game finished all square.
This result leaves them still in second place in this group with one game to play against Wicklow. The boys have really come along way this year and should be very pleased with themselves. We would also like to thank Roy Chapman for traveling with our U14s.
